"Oh, well, i guess that makes sense... Okay..." The police officer stood for a minute and thought. Then decided to go after Madigan. Once he had caught up with her he said that he was going to call her parents because of the extremity of the events that had occurred. This made Madigan quite timid, unlike her normal character.
Meanwhile, Georgia made a hasty escape the other way. Down the street. She only felt fear though, even after she had won this small battle against her nemesis. She guessed that Madigan would try to get her back, which was a frightening position to be in. Regardless of these emotions, she kept walking home.
Even though Georgia was very unpopular in her class, she knew that her friend Jennifer Dogsbey would always listen to her problems. This was a very sobering fact to Georgia, even though, unknown to Georgia, ol' Jenny was also, as it happens, Madigans best friend as well.

The next day, Georgia was sitting next to Jennifer in class. As soon as the bell rung at the end of class Georgia got up and went out into the hall. As soon as she open the door and peered out, she saw Madigan, leening up against Georgia's locker. Georgia paused. Then, somehow, mustering up the courage to go straight to her locker. Once she had reached it Madigan said
"What do you want?"
"This is my locker."
"Oh."
"Uh, sorry." Said Madigan
Madigan stood up straight and started to walk away. But then all of the sudden Jennifer ran up to her and pulled her back over to Georgia.
"Georgia, this is Madigan. Madigan, Georgia. You know, you two arn't that different, you should really get to know each other, do you know each other?" Spoke Jennifer, quite naive.
Georgia and Madigan smiled at each other, enjoying their friends ignorance. Perhaps they didnt have to be nemisises. Just maybe.
